Affecting Factors on Competence of Clinical Practice of Nursing Student

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the ego-resilience, stress, satisfaction and competence of clinical practice and affecting factors on competence of clinical practice in nursing students. Data were obtained through questionnairs from 202 nursing college students in 6 nursing college located in the province of G. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS WIN 19.0. As a results, ego-resilience had a significant positive correlation with satisfaction of clinical practice (r=.213, p=.002), competence of clinical practice (r=.432, p£¼.001). Stress of clinical practice had a significant negative correlation with satisfaction of clinical practice (r=?.443, p£¼.001), competence of clinical practice (r=?.156, p=.031). Satisfaction of clinical practice had a significant positive correlation with competence of clinical practice (r=.401, p£¼.001). The significant major predictors of competence of clinical practice were satisfaction of clinical practice in participants (¥â=.24) and second factor were ego-resilience in curiosity (¥â=.22). The explained variances for competence of clinical practice was 34.9% in nursing students. Therefore to enhance competence of clinical practice a follow up study on the development of a program for advanced ego-resilience, reduction to stress, enhanced to satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students is needed
